Debtor Education and Financial Literacy Programs
The Foundation is committed to promoting financial literacy among students, people in bankruptcy or who have been through it, and the general public. We believe these efforts are an integral part of our mission to make the bankruptcy system work better and to better serve the public.
We have programs to educate adults about budgeting, avoiding bankruptcy and avoiding the pitfalls of poor debt or financial management.
Our program for high school students and college students is modeled on the groundbreaking CARE Program established by the Hon. John C. Ninfo II in Rochester, NY, to which we owe a debt of gratitude.
