The New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation (NJBLF) continues to help those in the community we serve with our longstanding grant program, support of local law school clinic programs and the newly developed grant program helping our own community who are in need. Learn more or apply here.

+ Emergency Grant Program

The New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation is pleased to announce the implementation of its Emergency Grant program, aimed at dispersing funds to applicants on an emergent basis to assist them in the payment of their overdue, necessary bills and invoices for items such as heating oil, medical bills, automobile repairs, etc. Learn more.

+ Seton Hall Grant Program

The NJBLF provides substantial support for the Foreclosure Clinic at Seton Hall Law School where students receive financial support to help them with their education while, at the same time, those students provide assistance to those who potentially could be losing their homes.

+ Rutgers Grant Program

The NJBLF supports two of Rutgers’ Law School clinics; The Honorable Judith H. Wizmur Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project that pairs students with volunteer attorneys, many of whom are Rutgers alumni, to interview low-income clients and to prepare and file bankruptcy petitions.

The other, is the Honorable Morris Stern Bankruptcy Assistance Project that recruits and trains student and attorney volunteers who provide legal representation to low-income clients in Chapter 7 no asset bankruptcy cases are in high demand.
